VCI Supplied by your service provider.

Encapsulation LLC or VC. Supplied by your service

provider. See page 31.

IP Address The modem’s static IP address specified by

your service provider.

Gateway The gateway’s WAN IP address specified by

your service provider.

MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) Value (in

bytes) of the largest packet to be sent.

Typically set to 1500.

Traffic Profile The index number 0-7 of a previously

configured profile defining the Quality of

Service. See page 54.

WAN IP Filter The index number 0-7 of a previously-

configured WAN IP filter. See page 42.

Default Route Selected is the default. See page 33.

RIP Mode (Routing Information Protocol Mode for the

WAN interface) The options are disabled (the

default), passive, or active. See page 33.

Virtual Circuit Accept the default, which is 0, or if you are

configuring an additional connection, select

another number. See page 33.

When you finish, click Update, then Save Configuration.
